Driven by the goal of “Carbon Neutral, Carbon Peak”, the automotive industry is developing towards electrification and lightweighting. Lightweight is an important way to save energy and reduce emissions in the automotive industry, in which carbon fiber composite materials are the most promising lightweight alternative materials. 
GW COMPOS partners with HIT (Weihai) GW-HRT Team to release new Carbon Fiber Race Car. The car body uses full carbon fiber monocoque shell and adopts carbon fiber layup, supplemented by aluminum honeycomb sandwich and PMI foam, and integrated design and topology optimization for pre-built. The application of carbon fiber from GW COMPOS makes the whole car weigh only 25kg, taking into account both lightweight and mechanical performance.
