Green Empowerment for Development | GW COMPOS Awarded National "Green Factory"

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China announced the "2023 Green Manufacturing List," and GW COMPOS was awarded the national-level "Green Factory".

National "Green Factory" aims to implement the "14th Five-Year Plan for Industrial Green Development" and the "Implementation Plan for Carbon Peaking in the Industrial Field," continuously improving the green manufacturing system and helping to achieve the goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality in the industrial field. In recent years, GW COMPOS has been committed to building a comprehensive green supply chain system, integrating the concept of environmental protection and resource conservation throughout the entire process from product design to raw material procurement, production, transportation, storage, use, and disposal, practicing green development. For production links that may generate waste and pollution, a combination of systemic constraints and prevention and treatment is adopted, ensuring dual insurance at the source and disposal, to minimize the environmental impact; supplemented by new energy-saving and emission-reduction methods, such as establishing solar photovoltaic power stations and using energy-saving and water-saving appliances, to implement the sustainable development strategy, save resources, and protect the environment.

GW COMPOS was also selected as a pilot enterprise for the construction of Shandong Province's Green and Low-Carbon High-Quality Development Pilot Zone, which is of great significance for focusing on creating green production model examples and continuously promoting the company's environmental protection, energy saving and emission reduction, and technological advancement.

From green supply chain enterprises, provincial "Green Factories" to national "Green Factories," GW COMPOS has been dedicated to promoting the construction of green production systems and accelerating the pace of technological innovation to achieve lean and efficient production processes, energy-saving and environmentally friendly production, and optimized product quality.
